If you are a retail investor, after investing in a Crowdfunding business, you will receive a 5 business day cooling off period starting the day following your application. This 5-day cooling off period applies even once the offer is closed, this means that if you apply on the day that the offer closes, you still have the chance to cancel your application for another 5 days. Please note: After the 5 day cooling off period has expired, you will be unable to withdraw your application.
In the rare case that there is a supplementary offer document issued on the business, retail investors receive a 14-day cooling off period from the day it is released to give them an opportunity to reconsider their investment.
Sophisticated and Professional investors can invest more than $10,000 in any Equity Crowdfunding offer via OnMarket but will not be entitled to the 5 day cooling off period.
